What is KKDIK Individual Temporary Registration?

KKDIK Individual Temporary Registration (ITR) is a regulatory mechanism established under the Turkish REACH Regulation (KKDIK) to allow manufacturers, importers, and Only Representatives to maintain legal market access while preparing for the full registration requirements.

Companies manufacturing, importing or placing substances at 1 tonne per year or above may be required to submit an Individual Temporary Registration (ITR) before the applicable regulatory deadline. Following the approval of the ITR, registrants are granted a defined period to complete the outstanding registration requirements and submit the full registration dossier according to the KKDIK regulation.

What is the deadline of  KKDIK Individual Temporary Registration?

The deadline for KKDIK Individual Temporary Registration (ITR) is 30 September 2026. All manufacturers and importers of substances within the scope of KKDIK (≥1 tonne/year) must obtain either:

  • a Full Registration Number, or
  • an Individual Temporary Registration (ITR) Number,

by 30 September 2026 in order to continue legally manufacturing or placing the substance on the Turkish market. This requirement applies regardless of the tonnage band and also covers situations where a Lead Registrant has not submitted a full registration or participation in a joint registration is not feasible.
